Our Legacy
Upon serving his country in the Navy for 4 years, Mike Edwards began selling Kirby vacuum cleaners door to door in San Diego California. He then owned and operated 5 stores in California from 1965-- until he returned to his home state of South Carolina in 1989, and opened House of Vacuum and Sewing. We have been in business now for 36 years in Florence- and still going strong. We value our customers greatly, and with nearly 65 years combined experience, we look forward to helping you with all your vacuum and sewing needs.
